Our Hard Landscaping services

Patios and Paving

All successful gardens have one thing in common: a patio installed to professional standards. Whether you want to create a peaceful sanctuary, the perfect spot for family dinners, or a place to socialise with friends, your patio will become the focal point of your plans.

Our skilled builders lay all popular patio and paving materials, including:

  • Natural Stone
  • Indian Sandstone
  • Concrete
  • Block Paving

As you would expect from a locally trusted landscaping company, we adapt our service to your needs, but without any compromise in our own quality standards.

If you want us to install your patio adjacent to your home, the finished surface must sit at least 150mm below the damp proof course. Because the typical patio allows 150mm for the sub-base and paving, we dig out the area to a depth of at least 300mm below the damp proofing.

While finished patios look flat, they have a slight fall. Our builders integrate this into the foundations. For every 60cm of width, we add a fall of 1cm. For example, a patio with a width of 3m will have a fall of 5cm (50mm).

This fall is essential for adequate rainwater drainage. By directing water away from the surface, your patio won’t suffer from unsightly, damaging puddles.

Our landscaping company also lays pathways to connect your new patio to other features around your garden, such as a shed, deck, swimming pool or garden building.
